BOUTIQUE OF MOLLY | THE 'ORLA' BANDAGE DRESS*

So I've got something a little bit different for you this week, an outfit review. A couple of weeks back I received a cute pink parcel from new, up-and-coming fashion boutique, Boutique of Molly. At the time, I had neglected anything blog related for a few weeks as my dissertation was due in last week so I hadn't quite got round to even trying it on...

I'll be honest, ordering from somewhere other than my go-to queen Missguided made me feel pretty anxious, so when the order turned up at my door I was definitely sceptical to say the least! I tend to avoid venturing beyond my staple sites when shopping online purely based on the fact that I know I'm guaranteed good quality, as well as my familiarity with the sizing (this is always an important one for me!)

When I was approached by BOM, I had a browse on their site and felt it had great potential - a select few of the items I quite liked, but I'm pretty hard to please! However, the Orla Bandage Dress* really caught my eye, you can find this featured under the 'Luxury Collection' tab on their site! It was probably the only thing that really jumped out at me when I had a look on the BOM site, purely because I love spending a bit of dough on a decent dress! But they do tend to list items frequently, so I'll be on the look out for any new lines that I think would be more suited to me like the Orla...

The Orla is one of the more expensive dresses on the site, retailing at a hefty £89.95 it could at first put you off, however the quality is just as good (if not better) as the bandage dresses I've tried on from Celeb Boutique and My Bandage Dress! The high price tag is reciprocated through the thick, bandage material, heavy weight and tailored fit, which literally hugged my curves! I'm a sucker for a bodycon dress as its what I enjoy wearing and tend to go for on nights out so I'll definitely be getting my wear out of it. The dress is just the right length and the capped sleeve instantly makes you look and feel a little more sophisticated, so its perfect for special occasions. I will say its a little longer than I expected, but that might be down to my 5"5 height!

The panel stripe detail on the dress I also really like as it gives the fit even more structure on top of it's tailoring - it sinches perfectly in at the waist which is ideal for anyone with an hourglass figure. The light, off nude tone to the fabric is perfect for spring/summer and I personally love anything neutral colour related - nudes, creams, beiges and subtle metallics - I think it makes things look instantly more expensive!
The back of the dress also carries the paneling effect through with a concealed zip that starts just above your bum (there's also a hook an eye which I find says a lot about the quality of a dress!). I purchased it in a size M, after receiving great help from the BOM team regarding my measurements. I'm usually a size 10 but I was graced with a huge ass (as you can probably see) so I was advised to go for M - and to my surprise it fits like a glove. I teamed my outfit with my favourite Missguided heels which I grabbed in the sale at just £12.50! What do you guys think of it?
