As its nearing the end of the year, I think it's fair to say a lot of us are eager to wave goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017 with open arms! For me personally, 2016 has been an unforgettable year where I have accomplished a lot of things I set out to do. I turned the big 2-1, graduated University, lost a lot of weight, began the full-time lifestyle and travelled to my hearts content in-between.

It's officially the time of year where Albert Square turns into an illuminated, mulled wine fuelled place of dreams we call none other than MCR Christmas Markets! If you haven't ventured out to visit before then firstly, where have you been??? And secondly, go! I'd definitely say it's up there in terms of markets I've been to before and I go every year without fail. Everyone in sight is wrapped up in warm coats and woolly hats and grasping onto the annual red cups regardless of the time of day.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but I've had a pretty big break from blogging. It felt as though I went into hibernation over summer as it's been just over 3 months since I last posted anything on here.

Yesterday on a whim, I decided to log into blogger and to my absolute flipping surprise I found that my page views had increased by over 5,000... WTF. Baring in mind that this was during 3 months of neglecting something I used to love doing so if that's not motivation I don't know what is! Thanks to the lot of you (I'm hoping it's not down to some stalker).

As most of you will have gathered, I'm slightly obsessed with making holiday vlogs (you can find the full list here). Whether it be a city break or beach hol, I always aim to take my gopro with me.. and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a new gorpro for my birthday!

I can't get enough of the editing part as I get to mess around with the best clips whilst also laughing at any bloopers.. and there's usually a lot! I love devoting my entire attention to it for few days until it's ready to post on every social media site possible so I can show off the finished product.

So in a couple of weeks I'll be turning 21. The big 2-1, a huge milestone that I think officially classifies you as an adult and opens up a whole load of responsibilities. Especially with graduation approaching, I'll be starting by saying goodbye to uni forever, booooo. I feel as though turning 21 is a big thing, probably the time to start 'finding yourself' and what not, even though we still have no idea what we're doing.

I've kept this list quite recent, and I'm sure most of you will relate. There's obviously a lot of lessons we learn during our early years yet the most important ones I think happen in our late teens and early twenties. Here's the list of all the things I've had time to reflect on...

So after neglecting posting due to my uni workload and as it's been just over two months since the first installment of my three part guide to Thailand, I thought it was about time I follow up with Part II! If you missed my post on Part I you can read it here - it gives you the lowdown on the Northern parts and includes elephants, temples and lots of great places to stay. I'd advise you read that before reading this so you get the jist of my travel itinerary and plans.

Just last week I was gifted a parcel from EatCleanTea containing their Premium Matcha & Mint Green Tea Powder* (my fav flavour!). If you've been following any of my previous posts on TID you will know the grave love I have for all things tea related. However, having tried Matcha Tea last year in Thailand I was adamant I would hate it. I'm almost certain that the tea I tried in Asia contained extra additives as the taste was rather peculiar, thankfully the EatCleanTea range contains no hidden extras and is nothing like the version I had last year - in sum I just can't get enough of the stuff!

Afternoon lovelies! So today I wanted to share something with you that I'm really hyped about at the moment. A few weeks back I started having smoothies for breakfast and/or whenever to satisfy my hunger and I feel its really made a difference! Last year I juiced for 2 weeks solid and lost around 10lbs so I'm a big fan of juicing, however it cost me quite a bit and I missed my food SO much, but I definitely wouldn't rule this out again.

I decided to go down the smoothie route as I'm not really looking to lose anymore weight although I'm a big fan of Boost Juices so I wanted to recreate some of their deliciousness (who's not right?). At first I thought it would be pretty difficult to do this on a budget, however in comparison to juicing it's actually a lot more friendly on the pockets. I've found that if you buy the fruit in bulk, get a few freezer bags and bang it in the freezer, you save bucket loads and there's no need to buy any ice as the fruit acts as a substitute - winner.

So I've got something a little bit different for you this week, an outfit review. A couple of weeks back I received a cute pink parcel from new, up-and-coming fashion boutique, Boutique of Molly. At the time, I had neglected anything blog related for a few weeks as my dissertation was due in last week so I hadn't quite got round to even trying it on...

Okay, lets all take a minute to appreciate my new phone case for my iPhone SE (Cactus obsession = fulfilled.) If you're wondering where I picked it up from, it's from a little chic accessory company that goes by the name of Coconut Lane.. and I'm already seriously obsessed. I'll put it out there - I don't think another brand exists quite like Coconut Lane and I definitely know a good concept when I see one!

So I took this photo at the start of August last year whilst sat on the Millenium Bridge watching the sunset. If you haven't already gathered it's on the Quayside in Newcastle, a place I study at and was actually born in - I absolutely love it! I feel so at home when I'm in this city as the majority of my family only live round the corner. It's also home to some of the best nights out in the country and I challenge anyone who thinks otherwise. So, at the point of taking this photo, I was well into enjoying my summer after finishing second year and I wasn't really thinking too much into my final year... Now I'm writing this post, I currently have just over a month left of uni, graduation in July and then that's it, finito forever.

So, it's coming up to a year since I trekked through the beautiful South East Asian jungles and experienced life with little worry and a lot of sun. I thought it would be fun to reminisce on my experience by writing a guide for anyone looking to go themselves! My initial aim was to guide you through the ins and outs of the entire 6 weeks. However, as its quite a lengthy subject and I did so many amazing things that I want to feature, I've decided to split it up into three parts.

As I've been a part of the blogger community for a few months now, I thought that writing something about the girl behind the blog was long overdue! I began blogging back in November as it was a requirement for one of my uni modules, but I legit can't seem to stop now?! I decided the obligatory 'facts about me' post would be a nice introductory device to promote my new and improved blog - plus if I can make a fancy graphic for it then I'm definitely in!! I've tried to whittle it down to the most interesting facts about moi, so here we go...

So as you may or may not know, I love to travel. Backpacking, city breaks, ski holidays.. you name it - I love it. Wherever I go I always tend to take my GoPro with me, I'm a proper geek when it comes to it, but I just love the idea of capturing the best moments through video. Not to mention the prospect of editing footage and sharing it for everyone to see when I get home (yeah, sad I know..).

Calling all health freaks! This is a cute little recipe that I created a few years ago, I used to whizz these cookies up in batches as they're quick and easy to make - they also last for a good few days! They're a great go-to snack for pre/post workout - especially if you're peckish and don't want anything too indulgent! Since going to university I don't really find the time or money to bake that often, so I haven't actually made them in yonks! This particular recipe is definitely up there as one of my favourite creations - they're super soft, yummy and healthy, and using fresh raspberries gives each one a real bite to it! You won't need much money to make them either so if you want to give it a go, here's what you'll need and how to make it...

YES, you heard right. Banana and Lindt cake... and its so easy to make! So, I've been staring at the bunch of bananas in my flat for a few days now trying to think of something to make so I can avoid throwing them away. Being a full time student, I try to make full use of any food that I have left over, so I decided to make banana cake (with a twist). I incorporated Lindt truffles because they're my ultimate fav and, well why not?! Everybody loves them and I still have a ton of left over from Christmas that wont get eaten. The recipe was something I constructed myself, its not incredibly unhealthy (I used brown sugar and hardly any butter), but it definitely isn't for anyone sticking to a diet. It's not too heavy on your pockets either so if you're a student give it a go! Here's what you'll need and how to make it...

Happy new year!
Aaaaah it's 2016 already?!

So its an exciting start to the new year! For NYE I decided to have a night in (for a change) so my sister and I watched TV, bought a bottle of Bottega and enough chinese for a family of five. It was great not to go and buy into an expensive night out! Now into January, it's officially my last ever semester at uni and I have a ton of exciting prospects for the rest of 2016.

To begin the new year, I thought it was time to revamp my blog and take it towards something less uni/work related; starting with the name. Keeping in with the theme of my original diary idea, my trademark 'TAD', didn't seem to fit in with the change of subject on my blog. I wanted to choose something that wasn't cliche with the generic "wanderlust" or "beauty obsessed" connotations. I chose 'Indefinite' to replace it, its far away from cliche when it comes to blog names and it also seemed like the right word to revamp the old version and describe the new nature of the blog.

Indefinite; adjective

        1. lasting for an unknown or unstated length of time.
             "they may face indefinite definition"

        2. not clearly expressed or defined; vague.

Over the past 4 months, my blog has focused on aspects of my professional placement, which was a requirement for one of my modules this year. But after taking a shine to the writing and designing aspects I thought why the hell not carry it on. So, in light of my recent posts, the nature of my blog will move completely over to travel, lifestyle, food, photography and anything that is of interest to me. I have great things planned for 2016; this time next month I will be away on holiday to Chamonix, France for a week of snowboarding with the fam which I cannot wait for. I also turn 21 in July, as well as graduating just a week after that. There are so many things to look forward to and I cant wait to blog more and share it will you all! Hope you have a great new year.
